Surah Al-Baqarah is the second and the longest Surah of the Quran. The Surah was revealed in Madinah, and it consists of 286 Ayahs and 6,201 words. There are many Hadiths about the importance and virtues of Surah Al-Baqarah. Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) highlighted them along with the Surah’s benefits in different instances.

Al-Asr (Arabic: العصر, The Declining Day, Eventide, The Epoch, Time) is the 103rd chapter of the Qur’ān, the Muslim holy book. It contains three āyāt or verses. Surat al-‘Asr is the third shortest chapter after Al-Kawthar and Al-Nasr, being shorter than Al-Nasr by only two words in the 3rd verse. By the afternoon;

Name. The Surah takes its name Ad-Dhuha from the very first word. Period of Revelation. Its subject matter clearly indicates that it belongs to the earliest period at Makkah. Traditions also show that the revelations were suspended for a time, which caused the Holy Prophet (upon whom be Allah's peace) to be deeply distressed and grieved.
4) Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) says: Whomsoever recites Surah Mulk every night, Allah will protect him from the punishment of the grave by virtue of this Surah. In the time of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) we named this Surah ‘Al Mani’ah’ (prevents the punishment of the grave).
